Do you realize SpaceX just launched a rocket the size of a skyscraper that drops satellites the size of airplanes into orbit that soon will revolutionize mobile phone service?

On September 28th, Starship Flight 14 lifted off from Texas.

408 feet tall. Taller than the Saturn V that took us to the Moon.
18 million pounds of thrust.
26 satellites, each one about as heavy as a large SUV, with solar arrays roughly as wide as a Boeing 737's wings.

It slid them out one by one, like a Pez dispenser in orbit adding to their total 11,000 satellites orbiting earth.

Now think about Verizon, AT&T, and the rest.

They've spent decades and billions running cable, digging trenches, and putting up towers one zip code at a time.

SpaceX can cover the whole country from above. No trenches. No permits for every town. And every launch adds more coverage.

The carriers aren't going away tomorrow. But if I ran one of them, I wouldn't be sleeping well.

Here's why this matters for the rest of us.

Somewhere out there, someone is solving your customer's problem in a way you'd never think of. They aren't trying to beat you at your game. They're skipping it.

If you don't innovate, someone will innovate for you.
If you don't disrupt yourself, someone will disrupt you.

So which part of your business is your copper cable?
