Satchel Paige was 42 when he made his Major League debut in 1948.

He had spent about two decades dominating the Negro Leagues while the majors kept the door shut. When it finally opened, he helped Cleveland win the World Series that same year. In 1965, at around 59, he took the mound again and threw three scoreless innings for the Kansas City A's.

People asked his age constantly. He loved keeping them guessing, and he answered with a question:

"How old would you be if you didn't know your age?"

Let's take that amazingly powerful yet simple question and translate it to the entrepreneurial journey.

Most of the limits we put on ourselves come with a number attached. Too old to start. Too young to be taken seriously. Too late to pivot. Too many years in to change direction.

Paige ignored the number and just kept going at it.

If you didn't know your age, what would you start this year? What would you stop waiting on? Which bet would you finally make?

Your business only knows the work you put into it today.

How old would you be if you didn't know your age, and what would you build?
